I was diagnosed with herpes now 6 years ago. I know herpes can lay around dormant without showing symptoms but I contacted the 3 people I had sex with that year to let them know. The other 2 said they would get themselves tested and did, we are actually still good friends to this day, the 3rd had a really hard time accepting this, understandably and refused to get tested. I left it alone, thinking i've done my job I can't make someone get tested. I took screenshots of the text exchanges with time stamps as proof that I told him, saved them and forgot about it.
Now, by some shear misguided luck.... he's dating a coworker. I like her, shes not a friend of mine though. Shes young and naive and thinks shes in love. I do not know if he has it and gave herpes to me, or if I had it and gave it to him, or if he never even caught it at all. I don't really know what to do in this situation if anything. Any ideas or insight?
tl;dr Herpes positive girl had sex with 3 people, 1 guy refused to get tested himself and is now dating a young coworker. Unsure how to proceed if at all.
