I do theater. She was cast in a show, I did not audition, but they needed people, so I was just going to be ensemble, in the background without a speaking role. Somebody quit, and I got upgraded to a role I've always wanted, and I'm so ecstatic!
But, my friend got kicked out, for complicated reasons. But basically she is not doing the show anymore. We open in 2-3 weeks and I'm way too far into this, and I'm actually enjoying it. How do I tell her I'm not leaving?
TL;DR: doing a theater production with a friend, she got kicked out and wants me to leave with her.
