Howdy y'all. I cannot thank everyone enough for all of your helpful comments. I took everything to heart and had a really productive conversation to my BF. I set up some healthy boundaries, he apologized and reassured me that I am not a piece of meat and that my autonomy will be respected. He asked if I would be able to show him some more physical affection from time to time, to which I gladly agreed. He still gets handsy, but asks my permission and accepts my limits if I say I'm not up for it. He'll rub my feet or hold my hand instead, which I really dig. :D I'm viewing his actions through a different lens after our discussion, and it made me realize that he may have been feeling slightly neglected. We have an awesome summer planned, and are both looking forward to growing as a couple through these adventures. Thanks again, r/relationships!
