7 Commandments of Community Love

7 Commandments of Community Love

A community defines a group of people who share something in common, that may be commonplace, specific characteristics, work, or actions. A group of people also following a certain religion form a community.

So, we can say that the world is a community itself as they have some emotions, acts or relationships in common. People around the world form a community because they have a relationship with humanity.

Have you ever thought about how relationships are formed?

Relationships are always followed by some kind of emotions.

These emotions are not necessarily of love & care, but these may also be hatred or jealousy or any other negative emotions. But here, let’s talk about love, care, and respect for these are the only emotions that bring people close to each other.

What basically is love?

Love is the feeling or emotion that makes a person care for other persons.

It brings people close to each other and gives them the ability to care for and respect for each other. The more you have this kind of love-based relationships, the more you find peace in your life.

But if we talk about community, not all the relationships in a community are based on love, care and respect. Many times we find people in life who just do not respond to our greetings, don’t want to talk to us, or become hyper and insult us just for some minor mistake or for no reason.

The reasons are because they don’t like us or that they are just jealous of us for something that they can’t achieve.

On the other hand, we find people who like our company and want to spend time with us and love us back. So, there are different types of people with different kinds of behavior existing in this world. And this is, in some way, the beauty of a community.

When living in a community, you must follow ethical rules.

There are certain ways or manners that may help you return back something to the people in the community who have loved you so far. This will help you show your community love to people.

Let’s start!

1. Show respect and love

Always show respect & love for the people of your community. Do not be rude. When you respect someone, you are actually granted with the power to change hatred into love. It shows that you want peace in your community. So, by showing respect & love, you can showcase your community love.

2. Speak softly

Speak softly with the people in your community.

You will notice a change in their behavior if they ever had been rude to you. Speak gently & politely. Politeness has a special impact on people. Automatically, you will get unusual respect from the community in return also.

3. Always listen

Always listen

Make yourself capable of listening to the issues and problems of others.

Be sincere enough to solve their problems. If they tell you about any issues they are facing, do your best to help them. Give them advice. If you are unable to help, try backing them up. Show sympathy and take their tension away from them.

4. Show patience

Show patience, when somebody tells you about your problems or issues. Do not be frustrated. Rather, you should feel blessed that someone considers you worthy enough to consult and seek solutions to their problems.

5. Say thanks

Do not forget to say thank you to the people who make you feel alive or comfortable.

Be thankful and grateful to them for their good behavior and show some ethics back in return. This is actually the simplest but the most important way to show community love.

6. Celebrate success

A community is like a family of different families.

In a family, if there is a loss to a person, the whole family feels it and when there is some achievement, the whole family celebrates. Just like that, in a community, when something tragic happens, console people.

When there are happy moments, be pleased and enjoy with them.

7. Admit your mistakes

We are all human beings. It’s in the nature of a human to make mistakes.

If you ever make a mistake, try not to hide with shame.

Rather, apologize and say sorry to the person you hurt or mistakenly gave grief to. Be brave enough to confess your mistake. If possible, try to fix the problems or mistakes you have created. Be humble enough and do not let your ego enter the matter and ruin everything.
