Why Funny Relationship Goals Are Important in Your Life

Why Funny Relationship Goals Are Important in Your Life

It’s rare that someone falls in love and have a detailed plan on how they are going to spend the rest of their life with that person. Unless you are the obsessive stalker type, most sparks of love is a bit of admiration and lust (and sometimes alcohol) mixed together.

A lot of it involves thinking how fun it would be spent time with that person. It doesn’t matter if it turns out as a one-sided fantasy or a meaningful relationship; the need for fun never goes away.

This article presents a fragmented relationship goals list that would help you keep things interesting.

Why fun is the fuel to the relationship fire

If a couple ends up in some relationship, even if love is involved, a measure of fun needs to be there. A lot of long term couples break up because the fun is gone from the relationship. That’s why if there is a relationship goal list, most of it should involve a lot of fun.

Funny relationship goals is never a waste of time. Even if relationships, marriage, and family dynamics is serious business, that’s not a reason why the entire process couldn’t be fun.

Serious business, romance-related or otherwise, is a stressful venture. Stress is an ugly companion; it always comes to the party with their other nasty friends such as health and mental problems.

Fun is the only real way to keep stress away; those two hate each other and rarely in the same zone except when using prohibited drugs.

So if you are in a relationship and want it to be filled with either fun or stress, that’s your choice. Most reasonable people would choose fun, but then again, not everyone is rational. There are a lot of masochists out there.

So add fun in everything, yes literally everything. If you are a stiff, boring asswipe, that’s your problem. But fun is also subjective, what is fun for a nerdy academic couple may not be the same for rich spoiled brats living off a trust fund.

So plan your fun relationship goals with your definition of fun in mind. The worst thing that could happen is it’s not as fun as you hoped it would be, and that doesn’t sound too bad.

Fun relationship goals are exciting from the drawing board until fruition. It is the kindle that keeps the love burning. Even sex isn’t worth much if it isn’t fun.

Funny relationship goals and your future

Only two kinds of people envision a future that isn’t enjoyable — those who are bat-shit crazy and total idiots. So if you are planning your own future that will end up in misery, you are either one or the other or both.

Include goofy relationship goals in your life plan. Having something hilarious to look forward to in life is never a bad thing. Make sure it doesn’t involve naming your child Airwrecka or Gaylord.

Something like flying to Venezuela’s Angel falls using a balloon-powered house may sound silly, but something at that level is definitely entertaining. At the very least, it’s an exciting conversation piece for a couple.

Something realistic like emulating your first date on your 50th anniversary would be interesting.

Assuming your first date isn’t on a drive-through cinema and a backseat romp on your mother’s minivan. Most first dates can probably still be emulated. Planning to get it as close as possible is part of the fun.

In case you’re wondering why that scenario is impossible these days:

  1.  Most people don’t even know what a drive-through cinema is.
  2.  Couples married for 50 years will probably find it physically challenging to screw in the back seat of a minivan
  3.  Borrowing a minivan from your mom when you’re in the late 70’s leaves a lot to be desired.

Unless you kept the minivan and still have it in good running condition, if that’s the case, kudos to you!

But there are many experiences, especially when you think about all the sacrifices for marriage responsibilities and child-rearing. You can always try a Susan Boyle and audition for {Somewhere Simon is a Judge} got talent.

Don’t expect to win, but just being there for the fun of it is a good thing to experience during the last years of your life. A bucket list for couples is a good idea. Having something enjoyable to look forward to is one of the ways to keep waking up in the morning on the right side of the bed.

Regardless of your career path, if you worked for 50 years and retired after you’ve given the best years of your life to a company. Or a self-employed entrepreneur that never made more than the average worker.

Having something at the end of it should make it all worthwhile. Notice that I didn’t mention if you ended up as an uber-successful person. People like that don’t need a bucket list; they can pack up and do it.

One of the best things financial freedom gives is actual freedom — the ability to neglect responsibilities for a short time and have a minimum impact on their life. How to become someone like that is another topic altogether.

Difference between funny relationship goals and fun

Just because something is fun that doesn’t mean it’s funny. Humor for the sake of humor is hilarious. Fun is undefined. Shooting guns at paper targets with a machine gun, or jumping off a bridge tied to a springy rope, can be fun for some people, but there’s nothing funny about it.

On the flip side, stand-ups talking about President Trump can also be funny, but it might not be fun to a card-carrying NRA member in the audience. If he ends up doing his definition of fun, then the situation might not end up fun or funny for anyone.

Funny relationship goals are bucket lists for the sake of being funny. Something like going on a date in an amusement park to play all the fair games is one of the best funny goals ever. It’s not at the level of screwing every furniture in the house, but that is more raunchy than funny.
