Things to Consider Before Taking Marriage Decision After Breakup

According to a study by OnePoll, a market research company and Yelp Eat24, people spend an average of 18 months of their lives getting over a breakup. The study found that the epic sadness which follows a sad breakup can be so devastating that everything in your life is just thrown out of sync.

Everyone copes differently.

Everyone uses different methods to cope up with their situation and try moving on towards a better future. Everyone requires a certain amount of time, which varies depending on the person, before they can start putting their lives back in order.

However, some got too much exhausted and alone that they rush to get married. In most of the cases, such marriages don’t last long.

So it’s better to assess yourself if you have recently went through a breakup.

There are some factors you should look before going for marriage plan.

1. Make sure you are not missing your Ex

Most of the people seems to be broken and find themselves lost.

To overcome this situation, they start missing the old days where they used to spend time with their loved ones and enjoy their life to the fullest.

Before moving to take marriage decision if you are still missing him/her, then you should think again or simply drop the idea of marriage and take more time to be sure about marriage.

2. Are you making this decision in grudge?

It’s quite common and easy to find yourself holding grudges after a breakup.

But, if you have taken a decision of marriage out of anger, then it’s not worth it. One should understand, it’s a lifetime decision, so you should be more practical than playing games or taking revenge.

To assess that you are not holding a grudge or taking the marriage decision for some revenge, you should check on your partner, how much you care about him/her? Since how long you both knew each other? Is your relation is strong enough to move forward?

 You should take this decision wisely and with a clear mind.

3. Does your Ex’s presence bother you?

Many people struggle through such situations and act weird or sometimes aggressive.

In order to completely move on, you should be forgiving and more focused in your own life than remembering and getting pissed off about the past.

If you are not bothered with your ex’s presence, then you have successfully passed this phase and can think of marriage or seeing someone else. But, if that’s the case, then you need to calm yourself down and rethink about moving on.

Many people think of marriage as a rescuer to help them get over their breakup.

To some extent, it’s true, but, it seems impractical to do so.

Marriages involves your partner’s life too, you should be more concerned about it than just taking revenge or filling the space in your life.

However, if after assessing yourself, you find out that your marriage decision is just vague, then you should work on getting your ex back.

There are hundreds of ways to get your ex back. Moreover, there are a lot of people who plan to get their ex back than settling for someone else.
