What Your Birth Month Says About Your Sex Life

What Your Birth Month Says About Your Sex Life

Do you think the day you were born can affect your sex life?

Believe it or not, some researchers believe that the day you were born has a direct connection to your sex life.  How can that be? There are several schools of thought here. Some people believe that their astrological sign determines their love life, others believe that the ways the planets were aligned on the day that they entered the world has some effect on their sex lives.

Look how far back this goes

Anybody who got through high school trig has heard of the Greek philosopher, political scientist, and mathematician, Pythagoras.  Remember the Pythagorean Theorem? Well, in addition to that contribution to high school math classes, the sixth-century man about town believed that your birth date directly relates to your personality, and by extension, your sex life.  Obviously, this fundamental question of one’s sex life has been around for a very, very long time!

Think about it. There are specific mating times for most animals.

In the Northern hemisphere, most mammals are born in the spring, which must mean that those mammals were pregnant in the cooler winter months.  It is a bit different for humans. The month with the greatest number of birthdays is September, with September 9th being the actual day with the highest number of births, followed in turn by September 19th.

Why would this be?

Scientists speculate that there are three main reasons.  Babies born in September would be conceived in December. Long nights = more sex.  Holidays too, promote more intimacy; Christmas and New Year’s contribute to that high birth rate.  Lastly, people have more time off in December, so a winter vacay results in a September baby.

And another reason why fewer babies are born in winter

It is simple.  Sweltering nights coupled with high humidity and lack of air conditioning are not exactly the ideal recipe for a romantic romp in bed!

Most of the work done in the area of birthdays and sex lives does not look at individual days.

Rather, it looks at months and tries to draw specific characteristics about individuals born in those months. According to Lane Moore, a sex and relationship expert, your birth month determines a great deal in regard to your sexuality. Here’s a shortened version of her birth month and sex life research:

January

People born in January are both more conservative and kinkier than average.  This seems to be contradictory, but maybe being conservative in the sack is kinky for some people.

February

People born in February are both more adventurous and passionate in regard to sex. And with Valentine’s Day celebrated in February, February-born people have a holiday to really expand their sexually adventurous ways.

March

March-born people like to spend longer than average in bed and bring spirituality into the bedroom.  Kama Sutra, anyone?

April

People born in April value their sexual independence.  Typically, they will have hot, passionate sex and then when they are bored by their partner, it is heave-ho time.

May

If your birthday falls in May, where you have sex really matters.  The environment plays a major factor in the sexual happiness of this group.  Think low lighting, high thread count sheets, and Barry White playing in the background.

June

The gymnasts of the sexual world are born in June.  No position seems to be too hard for them to try and to savor.

July

This group of people are more emotional than people born in other months.  They value commitment and stability.

August

People born this month run hot and cold.  They can be extremely romantic one night and can be very selfish on another night.  Whichever, they give sex their all or nothing at all.

September

September-born people are a bit hesitant at first, but once they have been warmed up a little, are tigers in bed.  Watch out for this group. Still, waters run deep!

October

It is lucky that October has thirty-one days because people born in this month go rather slowly in bed, but once they get really started, they can last forever.  They are proponents of long courtships and can be very romantic indeed.

November

People born in this month are the definition of passionate.  They want to possess your body and soul and aim to please in that regard.

December

If you are into role-playing, you will want to hook up with people born in this last month of the year.  They are tops in the creativity sweepstakes. French maid uniforms? Cowboys? Round ‘em up, partner!

So what’s the take away here?

Good question!  Take from this what you want.  What is most important is what you believe yourself.  Great sex uses the most important body organ that exists: your brain.  It does not matter at all what month you were born in. Head and heart are the two key determining factors in whether your sex life is the best that best can be or something less than optimal.
