A sexy man can be defined as someone who has a great body (which is usually the common basis, one’s body) or someone who has a great face, to someone who may not have either of these two but has a great personality.

What makes men ‘sexy’?

Before we begin, let’s first talk about our basis for calling these sexy men ‘sexy’. I think that for a man to be sexy, he must have the appeal. The appeal can come in different ways.

To me, a man’s appeal is all about how he carries himself. It’s certainly never just about looks or great bodies. A man can be sexy whether he’s funny, talented, intelligent, a supportive father, or a loving husband.

After all, looks fade but personality doesn’t.

First on our list is Mr. Keanu Reeves.  Keanu, a Hawaiian name which means “wind blowing on the mountain”, is a notable actor. Among his best performance is playing Neo in The Matrix Trilogy and the more recent action blockbuster, John Wick.

Despite living through a hard life and earning millions, he continues to remain humble. He even commutes around the town.

What made him part of this list of sexy men is his humility alone. Keanu is one of the most humble, most genuine, and most private people in Hollywood today.

Not only is he humble, but he’s also a big-giver too. Generosity, giving, and humble – now I think that’s sexy.

2. Chris Evans

Our first comic book character actor on this list is Chris Evans, who not only played Captain America but is also a real-life superhero as well. He has created a charity which he calls, Christopher’s Haven that aims to help out the less fortunate children.

Aside from being a giver, he is also a great actor and a director. The first movie he directed was Before We Go which came to the cinema in 2014. Chris Evans played alongside actress, Alice Eve.

Tom Hanks belongs to our list of sexy men all because of his talent, wit, and his love for his family.

I think there’s nothing sexier than a man who expresses his love for his family. This sexy man is an award-winning actor and director. He won an award for playing Forrest Gump, in which he excellently portrayed a man with disabilities conquering through life.

One of the most famous lines he had in that movie was “Life is like a box of chocolates, you’ll never know what you’re gonna get”.

4. Idris Elba

This man’s voice is enough to get him on this list of sexy men.

Can you remember the epic Idris Elba monologue on Pacific Rim? It was so epic, I couldn’t forget it.

Idris Elba’s voice is a deep baritone that sends electricity through my spine. He also has a rich London accent that I just couldn’t get enough of. Many people, including myself, want to see him play the next James Bond role.

I think, why not?

He’s already physically training to beat The Rock on the Fast and the Furious spin-off. I also think that it’s about time that we have a black James Bond.

5. Pierce Brosnan

Pierce Brosnan is known for his trademark role as James Bond before the role was passed on to Daniel Craig. Pierce is married to Keely Shaye Smith, a news reporter in the 90s. They married in 2001, ten years after Pierce lost his first wife Cassandra Harris to ovarian cancer.
