So my boyfriend went to his cousins bachelor party this past weekend. Long story short his cousins hired a prostitute to come and strip dance for the groom. From what he told me, she got fully naked and he got very involved with her. He was a little drunk and went into a hotel room with her - when the came out they had both gotten out of the shower and were wearing bath robes.
My boyfriend doesn’t have a problem with this but it’s eating me up ethically speaking. The bride and groom and getting married next month - should someone tell her this happened?
My boyfriend also told me that his cousins pressured him to go into the hotel room with this girl afterwards. He told his cousins that he got a lap dance but he tells me that he really just sat on the bed and talked to her...
My boyfriend has lied to me in the past to protect my feelings but it has never been about other women. I’m very worried that he’s not telling me the full story. I’m also upset with him for not standing up for our relationship and refusing to go with the prostitute. He thinks I’m being crazy for my reaction to this situation.
Reddit, can you shed some light and let me know if I’m being irrationally upset? My boyfriend has always called me emotional and crazy for my reactions but I just really think the wife-to-be should know.
TLDR: boyfriend went to cousins bachelor party and shit went down. He thinks I’m being irrational because I think the bride should know the groom cheated on her. He also went into a room with the prostitute and thinks I shouldn’t be upset. Any advice or thoughts?
