So my bf and I have been dating for about three months and he is everything I could ever ask for and more. We have talked about having a future together and how it would be like but we tend to ignore the fact that he will be leaving to join the army within a year.
I know we have not been dating long but this is the healthiest and happiest relationship I have ever been in and its hard for me to think that it might have an expiration date. I feel like I may be wasting my college years with someone that I cannot have a future with instead of being single and meeting new people or dating someone that I could have more of a possibility of a future with.
I do not think the long distance will be possible because I would not be able to travel to another state very often to go see him and there will be long periods of time with no communication whatsoever. I am not sure if it should end now, to make it easier on both of us or just basically wait until that expiration date comes.
tl;dr should i break it off now or wait until he goes into the army?
